Former Republican Candidate for House District 35

I want better government!

I want to thank all the people that supported me being elected to Westminster City Council  in 2013 and while I served on Council from 2013 to 2017.  Your support was appreciated.

I regret that I was not able to have the other members of council engage in the meaningful, fact-based discussion of choices for the City that I was hoping to have.  In too many ways, Council was more of a rubber stamp for the choices that the staff had prepared for us.

I am most disappointed that I was unable to persuade the voters of Westminster to choose a new path for city government.  I am amazed that only 1/4 of the voters reject jamming thousands of people into Westminster in high density housing.  I am mind-boggled that paying over-priced consultants to tell things we already know will continue.  I am angered that the subsidizing of connected developers will continue.

Elections have consequences and this is what the 20,000 voters that participated choose for the 70,000 voters of Westminster and our 113,000 residents.
